You may have seen the recent, worrying, news about ‘Neotame’ an artificial sweeter. If you are trying to avoid artificial sweeteners then organic is the way to go! The use of additives and processing aids is heavily restricted in organic products, and many artificial food colourings and preservatives are banned, such as sodium benzoate, aspartame (artificial sweetener) and monosodium glutamate.

Amazing shop with a super range of organic fruit and veg, whole food, household toiletries, fresh bread, loose dried food and everything you can possibly imagine from a great local ethical shop.

Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Needed refills of non bio laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Ended up with lots of goodies!! Especially loved buying from the bulk area with supplied paper bags. I'll bring my own containers next time. Some lovely local apples, both eaten now. And the man at the register reminded me about getting bread. I chose the sourdough sliced and it is amazingly good!! It went immediately into the freezer as it's a giant loaf that will last us a good month of daily eating. Today it toasted up crisp on the edges and moist in the middle. This is better than pizza crust! Best bread ever and we'll be back!! Thank you to all who support this store.
