‘Value Basics’ is a range of great-value everyday products identified in-store by an orange sticker.
We were keen to identify and promote popular products from our existing organic and high-quality range that offer great value when compared with organic ranges from major supermarket chains.
True Food operates an ethical approach to setting prices that both protects suppliers and passes any savings we make onto customers.
Are These Products The Same High Quality As Your Usual Products?
Yes – these are exactly the same products and suppliers as normal, we’ve just identified that they are great value with our existing pricing approach.

We’re excited to announce that we’re now selling organic alcohol at True Food.
So now when you’re shopping for your everyday essentials and refills, you can also buy organic wine, beers and ciders from us.

If you want to buy plastic free, zero waste organic foods and ethical household and body care refills, we can help you.
Shopping refills is a bit weird if you’re not used to it! You can watch this short film or check our FAQs for advice on how it all works, or you can just turn up as we provide bags and bottles (new and donated).

Amazing shop with a super range of organic fruit and veg, whole food, household toiletries, fresh bread, loose dried food and everything you can possibly imagine from a great local ethical shop.

Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Needed refills of non bio laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Ended up with lots of goodies!! Especially loved buying from the bulk area with supplied paper bags. I'll bring my own containers next time. Some lovely local apples, both eaten now. And the man at the register reminded me about getting bread. I chose the sourdough sliced and it is amazingly good!! It went immediately into the freezer as it's a giant loaf that will last us a good month of daily eating. Today it toasted up crisp on the edges and moist in the middle. This is better than pizza crust! Best bread ever and we'll be back!! Thank you to all who support this store.
